PhD Thesis

I'm developing a PhD proposal. My thesis (under construction) is to explore the literary basis of both Dianetics and Scientology, examining the SF work of LRH and contemporaries, links with Thelema (Crowley) and pre-1950's psychiatry (Sargant et al). I'm looking for an original concept and I don't want to simply rehash work done by authors such as Atack, Miller et al.
