Scn perfect recall vs. false memories

I came across an interesting and fascinating article highlighting a forensic psychologist and professor who has studied the fallibility of memories.

"...her groundbreaking studies of false memories, involving thousands of subjects, drive home the point that human memory is unreliable at best, and malleable enough to wreck the lives of the unjustly accused."

This article is in such contrast to the acclaimed idea in Scn of perfect recall of date, time, and place, sometimes in past lifetimes.
Personally, since my recall is good on some things but not others, even when I was getting auditing, I don't and never did believe in the Scn recall stuff.
Thoughts?
