An aspect of disconnection

I recall an old HCOB - How help became betrayal - and this is an example:

Have you ever considered, how a child or parent or spouse must feel when they, being true believers, mention a non-optimum comment they heard, and tell it to the auditor in session, thinking they have done the right thing, have relieved themselves of the withhold, and watch that person (parent, spouse, child) who made the comment get hauled in to ethics, and get declared? To be told they have to now disconnect from them? To know that they were the instruments, the unwitting cause, of the disconnection?

What is it like, to realize that you just destroyed a loving relationship you have had for years? That you, in your idealistic belief in Scientology, and it's lofty goals, drove a stake through your future happiness with that person?

It's not just bad for the disconnected person - but the disconnector as well. Sadly, they justify it, and walk away. Such a cruel religion.
