A friend and I are headed to Florida for some business (completely non-Scientology related) in a couple of months and will be somewhat close to Clearwater. We'll have time to kill one afternoon, so I'm curious as to what it's like there to hang out there for a day. I kind of want to discreetly check out the town to see if it's bizarre or weird, have lunch and just people watch. Is this a bad idea? I don't want to cause trouble or have a dialogue with anyone about anything Scientology-related. Thoughts?
