A friend's reaction to my explaining why the $cientology Cult re-released BattleField Earth. :)
He's a never in and had only vaguely heard of the kult before. He knows about my time in the kults' paramilitary Sea Org. Initially he couldn't wrap his head around the mind-bending silliness of $cn. but over the time we've known each other he's come to have a pretty good understand of $cientology's bizarre world view.
Anyway, when I explained the bad press the kult has been getting lately and why they rushed BE out.... again. That was what he said. And I'll say it too. That was the best hey could come up with?
