Thursday Before Two

Has anyone ever wondered why Thursday Before Two was chosen as the end time for the week in the Sea Org (and other SCI Organizations) for production and statistics?

It was long and longer a source of distress for me, and I am sure many others.

I was so grateful once off staff / Sea Org that this particular thing no longer mattered in my life.

Do you think this is where the concept / idea may have originated? Was it 'borrowed' from the "Royal Society"? I have no clue what this was but it looks fascinating and was from the 1600's to the 1800's

Does anyone know the inside Story on this?

Today it is Thursday Before Two and I am so grateful to NOT have been up all night, on a stat push or otherwise.

Any good or horrible Thursday Before Two stories? I have too many to even know where to begin.
