This is a spinoff from another thread which got me thinking -
We can raise and lower heartbeat and pulse, create swellings and red marks on our skin, numb ourselves to pain or feel pain when there is no physical source just through our minds. It's been done repeatedly on subjects through deep hypnosis and people who can do it consciously aren't uncommon. These are biological things and the mind can sometimes override many otherwise unconscious functions. Spirit may be a factor, but it's not a necessary one, so in these situations doesn't matter.
So when does pure spirit get involved? Does it?
Does it even matter?
What Can We Actually Attribute to Spirit?
